Janet L. Kennedy, MD   
Janet Kennedy, MD enjoyed a distinguished fertility private practice career in the northeastern United States before moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2004 to open the Northwest Center for Reproductive Sciences with Dr's. Letterie, Opsahl and Wiemer. From 1988 to 2004, her Baltimore practice garnered numerous accolades highlighting Dr. Kennedy's teaching and clinical skills.
Board-certified in OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology, Dr. Kennedy was in the first undergraduate class in Johns Hopkins University history to graduate women, in 1974. With her MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Dr. Kennedy completed her OB/GYN training the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and her Fellowship in REI at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Awards to Janet Kennedy, MD include the "Golden Apple Teaching Award" for excellence in resident teaching and guidance, and being named one of Baltimore Magazine's "Best Doctors" in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Kennedy is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Of particular interest is assisting women with polycystic ovarian syndrome, or PCOS, and those needing to use donor egg IVF to conceive.
