Lindsay Wood, MSN, RNC, NP
As a Certified Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner,
Lindsay joins us with several years of experience in reproductive
medicine. Native to the northwest, she was born and raised
in Oregon. She earned her Masters in Science of Nursing at
Vanderbilt University in 2002.
After graduation, Lindsay accepted a position in a family
planning clinic in Portland. There, she gained a great deal
of experience providing well-women exams and family planning
options. She then decided to move to the Seattle area to pursue
her interest in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Working in this area of women’s health has been extremely
satisfying and rewarding for her. Lindsay finds great joy
in the opportunity to support and care for those who are striving
to be parents, and appreciates the challenges it brings.
Lindsay joined SRM in January 2007 with experience in ultrasound
monitoring and assessment, sonohysterograms, intrauterine
inseminations, coordinating IVF and other treatment cycles,
and providing education to patients about fertility testing
and treatment.
Understanding the importance of caring for the emotional stress
that can very often accompany infertility. She has been trained
by Alice Domar to lead Mind Body for Infertility courses.
Lindsay enjoys staying active in her professional community.
She is one of the founding members of Seattle Tacoma Area
Reproductive Society (STARS) and is also a member of the American
Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
As the Clinical Coordinator for the Donor Egg Program, Lindsay
is very excited about being “part of this highly motivated
